"Kung Fu" Korean Beef

1 Tbsp Sesame oil
3 Cloves garlic, minced
1 lb Lean ground beef
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1/3 cup Gluten-free soy sauce
1/2 tsp Minced fresh ginger
1/8 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Ground black pepper
1/2-1 tsp Crushed red pepper (optional)
1 Bunch green onions, diced


Start cooking rice.
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook garlic and hamburger until brown. Drain the fat from the ground beef.
Add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt, pepper, and red pepper to the ground beef. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.
Serve over cooked rice and top with green onions.


This dish goes well with a side of steamed broccoli or other steamed vegatables.
